Carine is a small shopping center near the main plaza. The first time I came to Podgorica I had no idea how to pronounce this name. Now I think I can say it! The "C' sounds like the zz in pizza. It is something like a t and s sound put together. It is also like the "ts" in the word "pets". The "ar" in Carine sounds like the ar in "car", so that is easy. The "in" sounds like the word "teen". The "e" sounds like the sound in in say or pay. Later I will try to get someone to pronounce it and put it in a video.
It is an interesting place. Some of the restaurants look very posh where the fashionably dressed people go, but some of the prices are actually very reasonable even in the expensive looking restaurants. The waiters and waitresses have been exceptionally friendly for this kind of place. And it has free WIFI throughout. There is also a supermarket in the basement. It is the one where I usually get my own groceries.
Here are a few pictures.
One morning when I ordered an egg and was using the wireless Internet.

By the way One egg with bread ended up costing just about the same as the three egss, bread and bacon, I got when I made the page on the WIFI, though! I'm not too sure how that happened! I think I was charged for the bread this time but not the last time. I will have to ask next time if I find someone else who speaks English. I ate on the first floor this time (first floor according to North Americans). The last time I ate on the second floor.
