Martin
Martin is an interesting guy. When I met him he was working as a writer for the travel books, Rough Guides. He arrived in Podgorica when I was in Albania, so Anton let him in the hostel. I was afraid I had missed him because he had only planned to stay one night, but he stayed two so we had a chance to meet. We have only known each other a short time but I already consider him a good friend. We have so many things in common, but he is about 20 years younger than me and has gotten a much earlier start on travelling the world and doing just what he wants to do.
Here he is outside the Spiritual Center restaurant.

Getting his ticket for Bosnia.

Writing to his friend in Korea, in Korean

He has learned to travel very lightly! The only reason his pack is not smaller is because he was carrying 5 travel guides!

With a Couchsufer from Podgorica, Sonya

I walked him to the bus station and saw him get on the bus. The guard at the turnstyle let me into the platform area even though I didn't pay the 1 euro platform entry fee (something I would like to see them get rid of here). Anyhow, I walked away thinking he was on his way to Bosnia, but a couple of minutes later I saw him on the street walking towards me! I thought, "Hmm this guy looks familiar!" But it didn't make sense that it was him because he had just gotten on the bus! But it *was* him. He had remembered that he had forgotten his passport in my hostel! He put it in a safe place. And it stayed there! It was right there where he put it when we got back. But he had missed his bus. We talked over the possibilities and he decided to take another bus in the mid to late afternoon. I asked how he would feel about me going with him so we could have more time to talk and he said sure so we went together.
Here are the pics from the place we went, Trebinje, Bosnia.
Later I will add the video of him talking about hostels if I find them again.
Other notes --
He saved a worm's life. Felt bad when I displaced the ants. Let me sit in the front of the van. Loaned me 50 marks. (I paid him back as soon as I converted my money.)
